How the pictures work
The comic uses our 11 included illustrations of a cheerful black-and-white terrier in a garden. You write everything that happens: the title, the captions, every speech bubble and the choice. Your own photo goes into the round badge on the cover and into photo frames at the end. The panels are not drawn from your photo.
What you can do
- A comic cover with your title, your dog’s name and a photo badge
- 6 to 12 scenes: pick a picture for each panel, write a caption and up to two speech bubbles
- Page turns by swipe, arrow keys or Next
- A choose-a-path moment where both paths lead to your ending
- Up to 3 of your own photos after “The End”
- Print it or save it as a PDF from your browser (cover page, then panels two per row)
Comment ça marche
- Download and unzip. Open editor.html in your web browser. No internet, no account.
- Read the made-up example, press Start my own and write your story. The pictures stay in place, the words are yours.
- Press Download my site. You get a ZIP with your finished comic (index.html + assets) that opens with a double-click.
Ce que vous recevez
- START-HERE.pdf (0.16 MB)
- Envelo-PawTales-v1.0.zip (3.04 MB)
Inside the ZIP:
- editor.html: the builder, opens in your browser and works offline
- example-site/: a finished comic about a made-up dog, Pepper (19 files)
- HOW-TO-PUBLISH.md: free ways to put your comic online
- LICENSES.txt and WHAT_YOU_GET.txt
Bon à savoir
- Hosting, a domain name or a public link. We do not host your comic. HOW-TO-PUBLISH shows free options; they are third-party services with their own terms, which can change.
- Drawings of your own dog. The panels are the included illustrations.
- A separate PDF file: you print or save the PDF from your browser.
- This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped.
- Your text and photos stay on your computer. The builder sends nothing anywhere.
- To change the comic later, save the draft file and open it in the builder again.
- The builder is in English; you write the comic in your own words and language.
- Preview images were made with AI image tools, and so were the comic illustrations included in every comic. They show a fictional dog. Every builder and comic screen shown is the real product.
- For your own pet and family. Please don’t resell or share the files.
